Sorry gentlemen, for not updating. I am facing some issues regarding the steering wheel. As you all might have seen my previous photos updated with the steering wheel without the horn button. Now that is the issue, as the steering wheel is Honda Accord 89year model type and we are finding difficulty getting the horn botton. For the past one month we are trying all the possible options to fix the steering wheel as the splines in the shaft does not match with the present steering types. Will update anything turns positive.
can't you source the stock steering wheel and use that instead of getting some fancy one
With modern airbag type steering wheels , they have one small electronic setup for airbag and horn
Its called clock spring. If you happen to open that to fit onto existing setup ,your most likely to break it.
I didn't have any horn in my car but we don't really use a horn here.
Gentlemen, finally we found a steering wheel. The whole steering column was dismanteled and parceled to chennai. My brother searched in chennai pudupet old spare parts market and matched a hondy city type 2 steering wheel and the same was transported back to coimbatore.
Now some modification work is going on to reduce the length of the steering column as with the new steering it is bit high. Sorry for no photo updates
