Honor 6X with Dual rear cameras, Kirin 655 SoC launched

Huawei's sub brand Honor has launched the Honor 6X smartphone in China today. The smartphone comes in three variants- one with 3GB RAM and 32 GB of internal storage at 999 Yuan, another with 4GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage at 1299 Yuan, while the third one has 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage and it costs 1599 Yuan. The smartphone will be made available from October 25 and comes in gold, silver, and grey colours.

Honor 6X boasts a metal unibody and a 5.5-inch full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display. It is powered by a Huawei's HiSilicon Kirin 655 (4 x 2.1GHz + 4 x 1.7GHz) processor, along with Mali T830-MP2 and can hold up-to a 128 GB micro SD card in its expandable storage slot. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and has the Huawei Emotion UI 4.1 (EMUI) user interface. A 3340 mAh battery is inside the phone.

13 MP camera bearing Blu Studio One launched in India at Rs 7,999

The new handset, named as Blu Studio One, is listed on the site at Rs 7,999. The Blu Studio One was launched earlier this year for global markets for $127 which is approximately Rs 8,500. The device comes in black and grey colors.

Blu Studio One has a 5-inch HD (1280 × 720) IPS display, a 1.3 GHz quad core Cortex-A53 MT6735 processor, 2GB LPDDR3 RAM and Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system.

Zopo Color F5 with fingerprint sensor, 4G LTE launched, priced at Rs 10,590: Specifications and features

Chinese smartphone manufacturer Zopo on Wednesday launched its latest Color F5 model that comes with Multi-account Application and PiP video Integration (floating video) technology. Available in gold color, the device comes with fingerprint scanning technology, allowing users to control the device’s camera, gallery, app lock and other features. It is priced at Rs 10,590.

Oppo R9s, R9s Plus launched with 16MP rear and front cameras

Oppo has announced the launch of Oppo R9s and R9s Plus at an event in China yesterday. The Oppo R9s is priced at 2799 Yuan (approximately Rs 27,680) while the R9s Plus comes at 3499 Yuan (approximately Rs 34,590). Both the smartphones have unibody metal design and come in Black, Gold and Rose Gold colour variants. The Oppo R9s will be available in China on October 28 while the Oppo R9s Plus on sale in December.

Samsung Galaxy On Nxt launched in India at Rs 18,490, comes with metal body

Samsung today launched the Galaxy On Nxt in India at Rs 18,490. The smartphone is now listed on Samsung's official website and on Flipkart as well but was not available for purchase at the time of writing.

"Samsung Galaxy On Nxt..all that you need reveal today at 8 PM," reads the listing on Flipkart. This means that the phone might be available for purchase/registration from 8 PM today.

Adding to its range of budget, 4G-enabled LYF smartphones, Reliance Digital has introduced its LYF F1 special edition smartphone in India today. The LYF F1 is the company’s latest smartphone to come bundled with the Reliance Jio Welcome Offer that offers unlimited 4G data and voice services till December, 2016. The LYF F1 smartphone is priced at Rs 13,399, and goes on sale today across all Reliance Digital stores.

Reliance Digital currently has four categories for its smartphones which are named after the elements of the nature called — Earth, Wind, Water, and Flame. The newest smartphone, called LYF F1, is not part of any of these categories and is a special edition smartphone. Being a special edition handset, it brings with it special offers and freebies including a free Bluetooth speaker and 10 percent cash back for Citibank customers.

InFocus has launched its deca-core Epic 1 smartphone in India today. The smartphone is priced at Rs 12,999 and will be available exclusively on Amazon starting 25th October 2016.

The InFocus Epic 1 has a full metal body unidesign and features a 5.5-inch full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) LTPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It comes equipped with deca-core (Dual A72 2.1GHz + Quad A53 1.9GHz + Quad A53 1.4GHz) MediaTek's Helio X20 processor, which is paired with Mali T880 MP4 GPU and 3GB of RAM. The Epic 1 comes with 32GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. Meizu M3S with 4G VoLTE launched, price starts at 7,999

Meizu today launched its Meizu M3S smartphone in India. The smartphone comes in two variants -2GB RAM with 16GB internal memory and 3GB RAM with 32GB internal memory priced at Rs 7,999 and Rs 9,299 respectively. Meizu M3S has a unibody metal design and comes in Grey, Silver and Gold colour variants. The device will be sold exclusively through Snapdeal.

The Meizu M3s offers a 5-inch display with HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS 2.5D curved glass display. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6750 (4 x 1.5GHz A53 + 4 x 1.0GHz A53) processor and Mali T860 GPU. It has a 128GB expandable memory slot. The smartphone runs on Android Lollipop operating system with FlyMe 5.1 on the top of it and is backed up by a 3,020 mAh battery. BlackBerry has finally announced the release of its Android powered BlackBerry DTEK60 smartphone yesterday. India based company launches Android Smartphone for Rs 499

Earlier this year, Ringing Bells started a trend for unknown companies to grab eyeballs by announcing ultra-cheap smartphone Freedom 251 at Rs 251. Next in the list was Docoss X1 launched for Rs 888. Later on, another company announced a phone called ChampOne C1 for just Rs 501. Now latest addition to the wagon list of cheap phones is the new Vobizen Wise 5 smartphone. As per their website, the phone is priced at Rs 3,499 but they are selling it at discounted price of Rs 499.

LYF has launched yet another smartphone in the Water series called Water 9. The Android smartphone has been listed on LYF website for Rs 8,699 in Gold colour.

The LYF Water 9 has a 5.5-inch IPS LCD that has resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels (high definition) with 401ppi as pixel density and Asahi Dragontrail Glass screen protection.
