Restoration of Yezdi Classic II

Hi all

I took a yezdi classic II and started restoring its to its orginal mint condition.

Inital problems faced :-

• 4 th gear slipping
• Lamby Carb
• No front brake
• Engine sound high. Cylinder and piston needs to replace or rebore
• Seat gone
• Speedometer not working
• Gear selector needs to be changed as sometime gear was not fully falling into its place

Yezdi. cool bike to own up . a passion of its own!

I have nil ideas about yezdi's , and very less ideas in bullet !
totally into cars and now learning about bullets.

But one thing is for sure , there are so deep things about bullets and yezi , will be keeping an eye on this thread!!

Your Yezdi looks like in running condition.
I mean almost nil rust; its rear tyre is in good condition.
I must say that you have got a gem
What’s the year of manufacturing .How much did you paid for it

Yes Ilango & 350 it’s indeed a very special feeling to drive yezdi. To hear it’s thumbing. Also we will get a feeling of total control over bike.

My father owned Yezdi, and it was first bike I learnt my driving.
Great bike.

Now its gone, wish I would know at that time, it can restored, I could have kept it.

Yes Power packed, condition and papers where ok for the vehicle. Paid ranging 11-12 for the vehicle. Only problem faced was the fourth gear slipping.
