I have no idea about clearcoat ...will it work on chrome finished parts??[confused]..but how do you plan to remove already existing rust before u apply CC?
I think I am fortunate enough rust is superficial and not penetrated deep enough. I will try rub it off with rubbing compound if not a 600+no water paper should do the trick and coat.

Not sure if it will adhere to bare metal or not, still in research.I am sure if not CC there should be some thing invented by great men to repel rust.. or I may be forced to invent something to save my bike.

That speedo auto fixes itself.

On my bajaj, sometimes the lights dont work, or the speedo goes kaput, or the speedo lights dont work, or the horn doesnt work, but htey auto fix themselves in some time.

So, is the rusted parts repair covered under warranty?
God knows, but I am not bothered its just a petty thing.

Aww.. Thats sad. Wont cost much though!
Yeah but Rust is pain, especially for Kerala climate.

6000km in Odo.

@Rightnow,Dont you think ride is pretty stiff compared to other bikes say 150 pulsar ,why could be that so ?

Had no questions so No answers and no comments but a Visual Treat.
It was Avenger's, Pulsar's and Nikon's Day.
Avenger , Pulsar kept spinning and Nikon continued clicking.
I am sure they trio had a great time.[glasses]

Pics unedited but re-sized.

Amazing pictures, i guess the second set of pics are from somewhere close to Mysore?

How about a short write up on the Avenger's performance from this trip.

Yup those pics are on the way to Mysore from Kannur just about Waynad.
Honestly I am short of time so it would be super short.

Avenger, has got a bumpy ride (why Bajaj?)

Fe is close to 46kmpl,has got 50 max.

After free service , maintenance is done by me or my brother.
We do give chain a diesel wash and spray chain lube, occasional chain adjustments and brakes (It is fun,is'nt it ?) oil change is next due.

It is a non tiring (read less tiring ) Bike,of course sometime I feel bored sitting doing nothing on the go. I wish there was a media player, Ice, infotainment et al like my car.
Will put a GPS soon.

Once I thought of some serious modifications for looks (HD inspiration) but my heart said, respects to Bajaj and heck HD,so avenger remains stock.
Secret things:-Yeah there is some R&D going on for exhaust side by side at my garage again lack of time is the block. had once cut open the exhaust almost quarter of its length and put it back again now it is on screws :-).

Amazing FE figure's, i guess for the rider the ride quality is pretty plush but for a pillion rider the quality is pretty harsh but the shocks can be softened, on your next service ask the ASS to soften the rear shocks and the see the difference.
