My Silky Magna i20 CRDi - 30K Kms. 1 Year Review with Pic's
Hey guys,
There were times i used to search all car forums and of GirlFriend (Google![[clap]](https://www.theautomotiveindia.com/forums/images/smilies/Clap.gif "Clap [clap]")
) to find the best one.
I bought car on 23/02/2011. the day after tomorrow would be my car's B'day
So here is my route map to i20 CRDi.
Shortlisted cars. were diesel only
1. Maruti - Ritz and Swift.
Ritz: Rejected because of the Look of course backside was too irritating and doesn't look smart and sporty.
Swift: Rejected for a single known reason. LOOOONG WAITING PERIOD![[frustration]](https://www.theautomotiveindia.com/forums/images/smilies/Frustration.gif "Frustration [frustration]")
2. Figo - sporty car but back wheel seems to almost hit the body. so, did not want to fall in swamp.
3. Punto - FIAT ASS was tooooo good to reject.
4. POLO - VERY VERY high maintenance cost but not premium hatch.
5. Micra - Car doest not seems to be worthy for 7 lacs.
6. i20 - The End.
Selection was not easy for i20 too.
known issues for it was
1. Steering rattles
2. Poor A/C
3. High maintenance cost
4. New version may be anytime in the market {Thank god its still coming}
Positives were:
1. Smart and sporty look - Compromised
2. A Big hatch - comfortable for 5 adults.
3. Awesome interiors
4. Features.
Ok will update more about the performance much sooner.
1 year - 32000 KMS - Isn't that bad.
UPDATE:
I wanted to share my maintenance records. But worst part was that i kept the bills somewhere safe, but forgot the safe place. Hope i find it at the earliest. Will surely update the maintenance record.
The suspension was too soft that, I could hear thud sounds while going on bad roads.
Mileage:
It was truly satisfying one for me regarding mileage wise. I have 6-speed one, So mileage was as follows,
City: 13 KMPL { FULL A/C }
Highway: 19-21 KMPL {Full A/C - 90 -100 kmph} : High speed: Touch 160 KMph { Mielage: Dropped to 14 KMPL }
Regarding pics.:
I have too many pics to upload. It's annoying to add each pic with URL's.
