Thanks for reply, today I learned something about flipkeys called up few people they are all ready to convert my current keys to flip key, for cost from 1300 to 2500/-. That too within few mins/hours in front of me.

What I understand about flipkey is, first you need to buy uncut flipkey for specific car key model. (i.e Honda city comes with 2 button remote, link) then cut the uncut flipkey with laser key cutting machine as per your original car key. Finally disassemble your original car key and take out the remote part then put it inside the flipkey. Like its done here.

However, yours is SMT model which doesn't come with remote key. Am I right? so you have installed autocop. How do you gonna put the autocop remote part into honda flipkey? Of course as per youtube, you may remove the sensor from original car key and put into flipkey but what about remote?

Like Dr MUDHAN said, only way is to replace the autocop key from autocop sales person.

I have protected them by non-illuminated plates, with engraved i-vtec logo. Somehow I don’t want to have the illuminated type for various reason.

Flip keys are very useful to protect cell phone screens from scratching while it's in pocket and they looks cool.

As fellow member explained that we can get uncut key blank with shell and need to transfer the whole circuit in that blank as car have immobilizer. I also don't have any idea how you gonna transfer that auto-cop remote in the key.

Can you tell me where you gonna get such keys at that price point?

^^I talked to few Delhi guys and one from flipkeys.in Chandigarh. He said he could transfer my autocop remote ie no 10 to flipkey case. but catch is first I need to send the keys and remote to him via courier. Second is they will give me Suzuki case with Honda logo. ie following.

I would like to thank you for providing with so much information and driving the passion for car in me and many others. I have gone through all your post and eagerly waiting everyday for something new from yourside. I myself have ordered few items after going thru your post from aliexpress like shark fin antenna, battery voltage tester. Got new wing spoiler from concept car, chrome handle cover, chrome fuel lid cover and planning few more upgrades.
Your post keeps this thread alive for me. I would like to thank all other members also for valuable inputs.

@ kuwaronline : You have 2 locations mentioned there so i do not know if you are now in delhi or mumbai. But if mumbai then you have many options for the flip key or even the oroginal honda keys that come with the V model of honda city. I remember i had done one for my earlier skoda octavia the key in the company was costing me 25k i got it done from a guy outside for 3.5k. The cars these days have sensors or immobilizers which are paired with a chip in the key. When these both match the ignition can be cranked up else the engine would sieze. I have not seen honda with flip keys so would recomend you not to go for the outmarket flip keys if possible and to find a keymaker who can do this on a original honda remote or key remote. I will try to find some key makers if possible and will PM u.

Sir when you get time also let me know that can we install power fold-able mirrors in our cars as they are present in global model of City. I have done bit research on net but not able too find anything promising, so if you can focus on that then it'll be good. Sorry for giving more trouble sir.

I am currently in Delhi(will be here for few more years) about honda original remote, I dont have as my car model is EMT which doesnt come with, it does has central locking but not remote locking. So I installed remote locking from Autocop. Thanks again

Thank you Haruh, but I am currently in Delhi. I am from Mumbai so I have given location as Mumbai/Delhi. But if I am not able to find good flipkey maker in DelhiNCR, I would ask my brother to visit Dadar flipkey maker with my car keys so he can do in front of my brother. Thanks again

@ kuwaronline: For this process you require the car and the key together as long as he is doong it on the new key and sensor which is very much possible as they can pair the sensor and chip via coding but if its removing you original sensor and refitting then better do it from a known chap only who has done it earlier as a small thing can lead to a bigger problem.

I got the spoiler from concept car but as carnelian red colour was not available with them, they sent it without painting. Can anyone suggest where in mumbai i can get the spoiler painted and installed.
i spoke with 2 honda service center for painting and fitting and they both refused saying its against company policy. I need to buy the complete set from them. Price quotation for new spoiler from honda service center was 16000rs.

Nice to know that you have got spoiler. Can you please PM me the details and price for which you have got it?
I know painter and paint shop who is ready to make exact shade of our car but those are near to my place which is at Dombivli if you know. If you are interested then let me know will surely help you out.

@ shekhar410: where are u located in mumbai. I am located in town side so if you are nearby can provide you some numbers also the thing about the paint is that being a red there will be a bit of difference in shade according to me as the brand of paint used by the company will mostly be different from the ones used by the painter. And mostly your spoiler will be of plaster of paris or plastic so the finiah will be a bit different from the body colour. Honda might use the same spoiler that you might have got for muxh cheaper but the only advantage they have is of the colour but not worth spending that much for it. So if you are close to townside or central side contact me through PM if you are close to Haruh then you can contact him.

thxs guys for the reply...I stay near andheri. If you know any place where I can get it painted and installed nearby my place please let me kno. I want to get a good job done. Some local garage near my place claim that they can get the same colour match. But I am not sure, so wanted to know if anyone has got any decent paint job done other than from honda workshop.
