Due to poor political condition and labor problems companies losing interest in India. HMSI threatening to close down two wheeler production in India following 3rd labor poblem since 2005 causing them to cut down production to less than 50%.
Honda threatens to take 2-wheeler plant out of India
Since labor problem is prevailing in Gurgaon, there are chances of even Maruti getting affected.
Second example is MRF not making tyres for the last three months, reason being labor problems. Yesterday I was out looking for tyres for my friend's Pulsar 150 and not even a single 110 or 120 width wheel available and ever the superstockist was out of stock. At last we got a 120 width from a small shop, but old stuff.
Dunlop closed 6 months back.
Pricol closed Chennai operation.
And the saga continues.
India is definitely developing.
