That picture above is an epic. Two Tata cars of different generations parked together. Will look even better with Aria instead of Manza.

thanks mate , !!

Hope the belt problem for you is wrong placement of ac manifold , as you said in the other thread

yeah the ac and fan drive belts are 6pk belt both in std and turbo!

for me the other belt , that drives the power steering and the alternator.
was giving trouble.

we thought the belt is already tight and noise was due to some other reason.
but just gave a little more tightness and the belt noise stopped.

now its fine - lets see for how many day!! hehe

Temp meter need to be working in any car , as it helps us to drive caustiously.

Hope the same reason made you engine back compression .

Hi

Is there any relation with the temperature meter and the back compression.
I thought its normal wear and tear of engine as the vehicle is almost 16 years old. As well at the time of purchase which is 1 year ago from now there was around 2,60,000 KM on the Odo.

So, i thought as the engine has run so much that's why its having Back compression. Is there a way to check back compression. I mean how we know a engine is having Back compression?

Thanks

Normal wear and tear may be the cause. 2.60 from new without a overhaul in middle is a good number.

what i mean was , if you constantly run on high temperature , like without noticing the temp needle or , non working of temp needle , it will have its effect causing ceasing of engine at the end

Hi,

Could you give some symptoms of a back compression engine.

Regards

Brilliant snaps. They’re straight from the heart of a passionate Sierra owner and it clearly shows. Great job, Vikram and welcome to The Automotive India.
