yeah Opel ,
A 12 years old opel lies with my mechanic. Spares avail though , its not so good maintained car.
gives a fuel efficiency of 22kmpl , Astra club with sun roof.
There is engine oil drop, low pick up(Naturally , need rings to be changed) ,turbo not working.

regardless of this cons , the suspension is so so so smooth.
Yes even my 5 yrs old marina is not so smooth as that astra. Then imagine the ride quality at new. No works still have taken place in that. You can feel at innova in this 12yr old battered opel.

The spares looks so solid. There is difference in quality just to see with tata oe spares. Imagine its Quality then.

Surendar , remember you have seen this car!

I think opel failed due to Gm's uncertainty.

I have never ever seen a forester in my life. No body in south owns it?

The car was rebadged as Chevrolet Forester. It was a Rebadged Subaru. The interiors and engine and everywhere else, the subaru badge was retained. Only the front grill saw the Bow-Tie.
Heres a Forester.

I liked sports car type frame less windows on Forester. It was a nice SUV but due to short height, It looked more like an Estate.

The Frameless doors were awesome. A looker. I love this Suv.
A Practical Impreza!![clap]

Almost all the flop cars in India were great cars, that failed due to marketing.
Dont u guys agree??
Think about
Peugout 309
Fiat Uno
Baleno
Tata Estate and Sierra
Baleno Altura
Mahindra Voyager
Sipani Dolphin
Rover Montego
Montana
Ford Escort
Ford Fusion
NE 118
Then there was the Opel Vectra- Man it flopped due to the immaturity of Indian market. Tech savvy car. Way ahead for indian market.

How about Ford Mondeo ??

Its the best design from Ford in that season :)
We completely forgot it [:)] Was a true ford, touched 210km/h with ease (stock engine) & still rock solid. The price was on a higher side & Ford cars were not cheap to maintain that time.

Why doesn't Ford relaunch it to compete with civic-laura ?? Its till pretty famous with tuners.

Yeah i agree with racerdabba!! We owned a Sierra for almost 10 years , man its an awesome car!! I still love the Sierra more than our Safari now!! The main reason for the failure of this car is the loading of the rear passengers , had only 2 front doors!! Otherwise a great car , sturdily built!!

The Vectra. The car had a very different story to it. Half the people swooned on it's beauty while others frowned on the same. I personally love Opel and loved the Vectra as well. I have managed to spot only 2 Vectras till date. That is how poor the sales are!!

What about the Baleno Altura? It was such a failure people don't even remember it!!
