So fellow TAIns what are your most memorable 2011 moments, here are some of mine:

Personal moments:

1. My article got published in famous hindi magazines like Aaj Kal.

Sporting moment:

1. India winning the 2011 world cup, and that too with Sachin playing in it.

Automobile moment:

1. I join TAI and become "THE X-OVER".

2. Long drive in my XETA to BodhGaya.

Funny moments:

1. When I noticed fellow member mukeshus ogling at another fellow member's car, when she was taking bath.

Personal moments:-
My father kissed me on forehead when I was in the hospital after my accident and I simply said 'sorry'..he kept silent..
My semester result said 78% even when I haven't studied whole sem except exams..

Sporting moment:-
What is better than the Indian GP...

Professional moment:-
We got a small road construction contract whose tender was completely made by me...

Automobile moment:-
My Laura TSI came home..
Scooped a Bolero zlx,then a Honda Brio(but before sending the scooped pics,we met the accident).

Funny moments:-
Gifting a box of some useful thing(hope you people have understood,hint:Protection) to my friend's brother in his wedding.

Personal moments:-

Nothing special, as like Every year I enjoyed each & every second in 2011.

Professional moment:-

After 1 year of job hunting, I got placed in MNC as a Oracle DBA in Chennai..

Automobile moment:-

Engine overhauling has done to my Indica & crossed 1L km,
Trip to Madurai in my salary..

1. Tata Manza came home

2. First long road trip (3500 km round trip)

3. Travelling 23 hours continous in a stretch in our Manza covering 1700 km.

4. Ajanta Ellora trip

5. Became a member of TAI

6. Participated and successfully completed Goa River Marathon.

Okay some highlights of 2011

Good / Sad/ Happy/Bad

1. Became member of TAI

2. Sold My Imports: Nissan Skyline R33 GTST and Toyota Chaser jzx100 TRD version (SAD)

3. Bought another car Mitsubishi Magna (SAD)

4. Mum and Dad came to Australia to celebrate Diwali :)

5. Sold Mitsubishi Magna (Super Happy)

6. Went to few road trips and did some Photography (love it )

7. Bought a Nissan Skyline again !!! (Super Duper Happy)

Few sad moments:

1. Sachin getting out on the score of 91 again in England.

2. Saw Marco Simonchelli die LIVE, unfortunately was watching that Sepang Malaysian GP LIVE when Colin Edwards hit Simonchelli from the back, memories of that crash still raises my hair, it was so nasty.Also had so much expectations with Simonchelli in future but Nature had other plans.RIP Marco!!

A good moment which I missed was Indian GP, sound of 2.4 lt V8 roaring on Buddh Circuit was simply awesome.

Happy Moments: -
1. Joined TAI in May.
2. India won the world cup.

Automobile Moment: -
1. For the first time since buying it, My Indigo went for a trip [Shegaon] without me, and had to be towed back (towed to a Mahindra Maxx) for a distance of over 75 Kms, to Jalgaon. Reason Timing Belt damaged.

Well everything went good in my personal life , college , examinations , results etc nothing much to complain about. Got my iPhone and DSLR too , pretty good year for me!

One bad moment is i had a fight with a good friend of mine and we parted ways.


Automobile moment:

1. Aria arrived home in January.
2. First long trip in Aria for 1800KMS in December.
3.Verna completed her second year with me without causing me any trouble.
4.Dad agreed to change my car this year!

Bad automobile moment:

1. Aria got involved in a minor accident.

My best moment was on 31st Dec.

I had heat and mass transfer exam and I had carried my own data hand book (we were allowed to carry our own books after the book was screened and stamped). My project guide happened to be the invigilator in my room. Now, me and him,we don't see eye to eye, there is a cold vibe always. He sees that I am carrying own data hand book, plucks my answer script and threatens gleefully that he is booking me for malpractice. The other invigilator walks up to him, takes the book from him and hands it back to me and tell this chap, I am legally entitled to carry the book.

It was my chance to smirk

sierra came home :)

Bought my first dslr :)

No long tours , apart from regular drive :(

Bad finance , closed the modding business , just paint work going on in contract :(

Almost every human forcing me to get into IT job :(

Atlast they get my point its automobiles for me , nothing else :)

Over all , not so good year for me , But learns many thing this year than usual.

Hope comming years will become a ladder to get into my dream jobs.
1. Modding cars /restoring classic etc
2. else a job as auto journal
3. Else a vehicle tester job!

For me 2011 was really good.
1. Got a job as a Business Analyst with the 2nd largest retailer of US "TARGET". was very happy.

2. Got my new Iphone 4 :-)

3. Did my 3rd road trip from Virginia to Minneapolis (In US) 1100 miles/ 1770 kms

2. Bought my first second hand car (Zen Vxi).
3. Bought New Home.
4. Bought Punto 1.3 MJD.

I think so much of joy and happiness is enough of one year :-)

1) April 02, 2011 - India got crowned as the World champs (I cried like hell)

2) April 22, 2011 - Hurt the Figo front left at a blind corner by a hopeless rash driver. No human hurt luckily.

3) May 22, 2011 - Got into the wonderful world of TAI.

4) June 09, 2011 - My daughter's 1st birthday celebrations

5) Nov 06, 2011 - Got My Vista QJD (a long ownership review coming up in 2 weeks)
