What type of tyre is this (Low Profile Tyres)

Friends I found this picure on net somewhere.



Can someone tell me what is type of tyre is this. So thick. Will it have tube? how it is suitable for our country, especially for chennai. Will it be costly?

These are normal tyres but are called low profile tyres.

It wont have a tube, these days all cars come with tubeless tyres.

Yes, such tyres are costly but not by a huge margin.

To add it will be a very very rough ride driving on these. Plus it will affect car's suspension majorly!!

I think it's a PS job. Such low profile for Spark doesn't suit it.


Considering the bad road conditions in Chennai it's better to stick with the stock size.

These are known as low profile tyres which are seen on sports cars for the improved handling and steering feedback they offer but there’s a compromise with ride comfort. Not practical for a car like Spark in India. Moreover it seems to be a Photoshop to me.

Even only on the rims, the spark would have more GC than seen in the pic. This definitely is a PS job IMO.
