Hello guys,
I have left my car for repairing the dents and get a paint job done.
My insurance is with IFFCO-TOKYO.
I got the claim registered and the surveyor put a bomb into my head that the insurance claim can be done for the freshest incident.
Since my car has scratches in both the sides, i submitted the claim for both sides and he says he can approve only one side. Both sides claim require a FIR report.
I did speak with the body shop incharge but nothing much they could do.
So, i want a clarity on this:
1. Can't i repair/ paint any part that was scratched few months ago in insurance?
2. Does insurance claim for scratches on both sides require a FIR?
3. If the surveyor is not doing a right job, what can i do?
NOTE: Car is already in the service and job is due to be started tomorrow morning. Any advice will be great to proceed.
Please help me with your inputs.
