The difference is going to be primararly on the interiors and the features. Apart from that there will be a slight increase in the length (that what I came to know, we have to confirm). Of course you can expect some aesthetic change as well.

Yes, the new Swift has an elongated wheelbase which is about 20mm more than the current version. Also it will come with better interiors and some minor exterior changes like stretched headlamps, taillamps etc.

Yes, the elongated wheelbase has used up for increasing the rear legroom which is quite less/cramped in the current Swift. However the boot space has been reduced.
As for the engine, i dont think there will be a new heart, maybe some minor changes for better performance.

Hmm; thats a great newz!
Anyhow the current Swift's boot can rarely be used for any purpose!

wow great to know that new swift's indian testing has now started. it is looking same because maruti has camoflagued it this way so that it looks like current swift. closely look at taping on rear light..its looking square to give old swift appearance but in real its all new swift under clothes!!!

I think tail lamps and front view of New Maruti Swift is kind different from old version.

Design is same as previous Swift but changes are smoother dash, a built in retractable screen, automatic climate control, Bluetooth, and a USB port. It will have more ventilation than the previous model, as well as keyless ignition.But They ought to change in Design also.
