Can you pl. let me know in detail : what are VIN and H mark?

How and where can I check these?

what should be the ideal reading(mileage) for a brand new car in the showroom before taking the delivery?

We have a complete thread dedicated to VIN, Please check (http://www.theautomotiveindia.com/f...-decoding-vehicle-information-number-vin.html). The odometer reading should be close to zero but maximum 50Kms - 70Kms is considered OK as long as the dealer has valid reason for it.

Another Query

I read in a magazine that Fiat offers 4 year or 40000 kms of warranty ( whichever comes first ).
Is that true ? Can somebody please verify that ?

Yes, FIAT is currently offering 50months warranty for its new rane of vehicles which include Punto, Linea.
