Hi Folks

I am So confused to select the diesel hatchback's.

My Average driving kms is 2500-3000 kms both in city & highway.

Pls suggest to choose cars.

It's should be a more comfort in interior for 5 person's.

And good in milage,. and low maintain cost.

Waiting for your posts.

He wanted a comfortable diesel hatch.

No other hatch can beat Tata Vista in comfort factor.

Low maintainance cost and fuel economy and space are other plus points along with good ride quality.

When it comes to an comfortable hatch Vista is the first ever thing which comes in mind,so its a nice hatch to be in,drive around and have fun.
Well there is another contender, the Figo but if you are okay with its GC problems you could try that.

@prakashjga

If you are running your car for more than 2.5k kms a month, a diesel car is just perfect for you. If seating 5 people is mandatory, Punto, Vista, i20, Fabia, Figo, Indica eV2 are the only diesel hatches which match your criteria. No other hatches can seat 5 in real comfort than the above mentioned ones. I suggest you check out the Punto Emotion or Emotion pack. There are great offers running on Punto and linea. Punto is a looker. Draws attention from everyone around! it has an amazing 1.3 MJD. super smooth gear box. brilliant ride and handling. take a test drive. you'll know what i am trying to say :D

But you should be ready to face iffy and below par service at T.A.S.S Fiat spares are quite tough to procure. this is what i've heard from owners.

Swift, Vista or Punto choose any from them, TD all cars personally and then decide.
Liva is also good option, it has nice rear leg room.

I personally feel that comfort is highly subjective factor which depends upon the physical structure of the person. From my experience following are the comfortable diesel hatch in descending order :

1. Fabia
2. Vista
3. Punto
4. Ritz
5.Swift
6. Figo

Swift has the most comfortable front seats but letdown by rear seat space. Not a 5 sitter IMHO.

Fabia offers terrific ride quality and seat comfort. But back seat is little too upright.

Vista is all rounder but rear seat height could have been better.

Punto has probably the best ride quality but underthigh support is an issue: seats kind of slope downward.

Figo is very good space but seat base width could have been more.

Ritz is very good & comfortable but excessive body roll is an issue.

Best way is always to TD & then decide.

Swift has 8 months waiting period so you can count it out.

Figo is ford so it would be hard to maintain.

Beat is a newcomer,so reliability is unknown.

All in all your best buy is TATA VISTA----SEDAN CLASS[:)]

Sorry to say, Toyota Liva is the crappiest car in its segment. Poor performance, poor NVH, poor gearshift & abundant cost cutting. Only good thing is space & ride. It is overpriced too for what it offers. Buy it if you want to show off the 'T' badge.

Liva offers decent ride quality and handling. acceptable engine noise. I am surprised your opnion about poor gear shift. IMO gear shifting among the best. Agree about cost cutting and poor interior. Also seats are very thin as compared to others. But end of day you'll be very happy with your car.
