Placement of Stock Air Intake in Chevrolet Beat?

It would help if you had posted the pic of the bonnet beading,usually there is a gap where the air intake is,but i think this car is petrol cos the air intake for diesel is on the other side. But my feeling is this air intake is sufficient for a NA engine.

Is pod filter an alternative to CAI and is it available in India and how much does this cost.Will it improve throttle response?

Can you please explain its advantage?

The thing with the pod filter is you need to get a pod and a connecting AFM meter.

Then you need to cover the pod filter to keep it nice and clean , otherwise in India you will get the pod covered with mud and dust.

This is what you can do.

Only purpose of these pod filters is that they allow maximum air flow.

Thats why all the sports cars have it :)
