I advise you the same HU I have in my new i10.

The Pioneer DEH - 4290 SD. Quality with my Boston Components is fab. It is easy to operate and control. The display is crisp too.

It has 4 * MOSFET 50W and 2 * RCA pre - outs.
Street price: Rs 6500 - Rs 7500 with b&w, depending on where you buy from.
DEH - 4290 SD

@ arkin thanks for reply.i like Pioneer DEH - 4290 SD is look cool and i saw the features its realy a good head unit.its M.r.p. is Rs. 9990 so do you think i can get it for Rs.6500 in kolkata?what is the model no. and cost of your Boston Components?do you have amp and sub in your ice?

It will cost you Rs 7000 ideally in Bangalore. Don't know about Kolkata, try inquiring at some shops and the people you got your stuff from. Rs 9990 is the MRP on my box too. I'm sure you will be able to buy it within your budget.
Mine are Boston SXi606 260W Front Components. Cost me Rs 5000 or so. I've not got an amp or sub as yet.

the ones i have mentioned will cost 8-10k (check with your dealer) and does not have DVD compatibility. it has 3 preouts, USB, AUX and the likes.

@ raj i have 4 ch amp in my car and i will not add another amp in my car,so do you think i need 3 rca?

this is keeping in mind future upgrades. if not in this car, you can very well transfer the HU to a new car.

else, you can buy a 2 RCA, you can buy a double din too for 9.5k.

@ arkin you told me you dont have sub and amp yet but can you tell me does your head unit have sub control?btw can you highlight some pros and cons of the same.

Well i told you first itself to change the HU! You seem to be following my way!


Again i would advice going in for an CD MP3 with USB and with 3 RCA outputs only. You never know what you will upgrade in your future! Even if you are going to add comps these 3 outputs can be useful.

Yeah its possible but you will not get the desired output from the comps. Go for a 3RCA one , will be useful even if you add an extra sub!
