Guys , yesterday I watched "The Company Men" nice movie based on USA Recession.
The story centers on a year in the life of three men trying to survive a round of corporate downsizing at a major company - and how that affects them, their families, and their communities.
Star cast : Ben Affleck, Chris Cooper and Tommy Lee Jones.
Watch it if you like serious movie.
One more I watched: Seven Pounds starring Wills Smith- too serious and great acting by Wills Smith

Needless to mention about music score and songs.Kun Faya kun is echoing everywhere around me.
From conventional point of movie this movie is flawed everywhere . but come back to modern age and Imthiaz Ali sets a benchmark how movie should be movie..
the Photography is treat for eyes and the way Director takes you through the bits and bites of life is exemplary . I could relate this type of experience while watching A.M.Maniratnam Movies e.g Roja. (Now I wish to go and see our capital "Delhi".)
RanbirKapoor did well but the female folks were too disappointing. I am still unable to understand why they compromised otherwise such an excellent movie with an american fashion model ???
This is one of the movie where I never ever felt the usual "where the hell actor learnt singing and why music ?"
One of my own silly feeling is ,somehow I felt the movie an adaptation of Tom hanks "Forest Gump". I could make out from start the lady would die at the end ,lol.
For poor casting and character it loses some points otherwise 10/10 from my side.

I also saw the movie only some time back and I really liked it. Actually I saw it because of good songs.
I liked how the movie depicts a common man dreaming of becoming famous and when he becomes so, he wishes to get back to small joys of life. This is how life is I suppose.
I have stopped expecting sensible movies from bollywood, especially salman khan, akshay kumar and the likes

they just make fool of the audience and nothing else. low budget movies are far far better than this base less movies.
