The GT-R offers a similar performance to the SLS and takes about 10 days(even less) to be delivered.

The cars like GT-R or even the 370Z are regular sports cars, not the one like Rolls Royce Phantom or SLS AMG which find only a few selected owners across the globe. Thus, they do not fall into that category.

Mercedes SLS AMG is finally here

As I've mentioned before, I'm a huge Mercedes fan, and I usually try to keep as up-to-date as possible with all the latest information on the brand. So, for all of my fellow Mercedes Benz fans, I'm happy to announce that their SLS AMG (the ads for which have been running for quite a while. It's the one with Schumacher driving the car through a tunnel) was launched in India on the 16th of this month (Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Launched in India - News - ZigWheels). Although, I'm sure most of us will ever be able to get behind the wheel of one, a guy can always dream right?

Mercedes has unveiled the stunner - SLS-Class AMG, in India. The launch ceremony was brilliantly organized.
My apologies 350Z. I only just noticed this thread. I was so excited about the news that I made a similar post myself. But yours is great. Any idea where the launch was held? I think they've recently launched a magazine as well, if my friends are to be believed. But I'm not sure exactly what it will contain. I guess we'll just have be patient and check it out for ourselves.

Hey, it’s absolutely alright. The launch of SLS AMG was held in New Delhi. Are you referring to the book by any chance, which is called “Story of three pointed star”? Last time I saw, It was for sale on Auto Expo for more than Rs.1,000 bucks. You can check their website for details, if any.

Oh, they've got a book out as well? This is the first I'm hearing of it. Definitely going to go hunting for it now. But I was talking about the magazine, the one that was launched in Mumbai. I think it's called 'Mercedes magazine' just like its international counterpart. I'm hoping it's for general public consumption & not just for Benz owners. I know a lot of fans who don't own one themselves, so I'm sure they would appreciate it.

The SLS AMG makes me throw up in disgust.

I have seen the car from (almost) all angles(in pics, of course), and seriously, I am yet to see an uglier AMG.

I really wonder what were AMG guys thinking when they made this?
Horrible. Pathetic.

This car is the only reason I am thinking of changiing my username.
