Mercedes Benz SL350 and GL500 Launches in India

The three pointed star has today launched two of their popular models – SL 350 Sports Car and GL 500 SUV. Both are high-performance cars and master piece in their own segments. The SL 350 comes equipped with 3.5 Liter V6 Engine (315 HP and 360 NM Torque) where as the GL 500 has a humongous 5.4 Liter V6 installed under its hood (388 HP and 530NM Torque). They are available for Rs. 98.5 Lakhs and Rs.80.5 Lakhs respectively. Enjoy the launch ceremony photographs.

I remember reading a cover story on the GL once in Overdrive a year back if I am not wrong!

The SUV class in Mercedes has not being doing that well as the Audi or BMW. Let us see whether MB puts in right strategies in place so as to give tough competition to the other stallions in the race!

well i thought these both were already on sale in india..but anyways. too costly and i like GL. its all rounder with great off roading power and luxury. atleast better than cheap looking G wagen!!
