But only Ritz which are being sold to large extent are diesel. If i10 comes up in 1.2L diesel, it will give tough competition to swift + ritz.

Re: Maruti Suzuki Ritz To Receive a Minor Facelift

Present rear design also looks OK to me and looks unique, but I expected the rear to be changed as Opel Agila which is more appealing like this !!

It also need to be loaded with more features like other cars and it could have been better if they select the 185 profile tyres as stock !!

+1, Even i feel suzuki missed a chance here, they should have copied the Agila's design which is very attractive than the current one,

i thought it's the new ritz rear [surprise] it looks so good. the original design is rubbish.

my cousin recently purchased a ritz and he said in the top model having alloys , 185 comes as stock and in lower models 165 is the size.

the interiors are the same. i hope the quality is better than before. i didn't like the quality of the present ritz , cheap plastic used everywhere.

The introduction of the ZDi variant is a smart move. Many buyers were turning their heads against Ritz because of lack of air bags. Now with the ZDi variant I am sure the the sales numbers are going to increase.

I'm late by 20 minutes. I thought of updating the details after dinner, but 350Z had updated already!

Ritz in red looks good. Do you think there will be any taker for Ritz @6.23L for ZDI variant?

Not sure if others have taken notice of this. Maruti plans to sell 2 versions of Ritz. The facelifted version is only for the diesel. They will continue to sell the pre-facelifted version of Ritz petrol.

The facelift appears too cosmetic, not sure if a casual observer will be able to differentiate the new from the old. Can't believe Maruti has priced it 25K higher variant to variant. Maybe it is part of a strategy to get maximum possible margins from diesel cars. Diesel is going to sell anyway. Also given painfully high waiting periods for Swift-D, they might be hoping to pull some impatient customers to buy the 'new' Ritz.

Have to wait and watch how the market reacts to this
