Mahindra Logan CNG Now Available

While another rival for Logan made its grand debut yesterday, it was difficult for Mahindra-Renault to stay away without creating a headline for the Logan. That is why, the major auto-maker has announced the launch of Logan CNG version in order to make it a more economical package. The CNG is available with the 1.4 GLE and GLX variants, in Delhi and Mumbai only. The Landi Renzo, Italy, manufactured CNG kits add a total weight of 12 Kilograms to the car, and of Rs.56,000 to the buyer’s pocket.

“With issues such as climate change and carbon footprint taking centre stage globally, eco-friendly transportation has become the need of the hour and hence the launch of a company approved CNG kit. It also reduces the running cost effectively. Let’s only hope that Mahindra-Renault does not keeps offering the dated Logan in India and rather comes up with the latest model in 2011, and yes, the rumour about the compact Logan has vanished into the thin air from some time now.

Mahindras are doing a good job of resurrecting the Logan.. logan now selling in 1000+ nos every month. Renault must be scratching their heads :-)

i think i read somewhere earlier than mahindra has completely purchased logan from renault to sell it in india..though dont know if its still coming with renault badges?? [thinking]
