as mentioned before, a basic JVC HU with CD, Aux and USB and 4 JVC Speakers.

got first service done. it costed 3.5K. but the car was washed and polished really well. this car is really a workhorse. already done around 8K KMS.
Does the first service involve oil change? If not, 3.5k sounds a bit high isn't it?

yes even dad was wondering why 3.5K bill came. but yes there was oil change.
Is the oil change interval every 5k kilometers?

yes SA told me that and also fellow members. check the first page.
But Raj said that at 5k it is just check up and won't cost much. The actual service being every 10k kms. Check the manual to see if the SA was right.

sure thing will ask dad to ask the SA. actually i cant follow updates with the car being here in BKK cuz its tough from here. but i will ask exactly next time i talk to dad. something looks fishy to me.

I am sorry, there is a confusion because of me.
In mahindras, they do the first oil change at 5k because the engine is brand new & just set in. Then onwards, fluid changes happen every 10k kms, so it is at 15k, 25k, and so on.
At 10k, 20k, etc, it is just a check up service.

i know buddy that it is not the best looking, but i think its not that bad. Plus it does a good job of scaring other motorists. Not too sure about other accesories. What else should go in? any suggestions?
