Without duties, the car would cost about 20 lacs, i guess. If produce in India, this will sell in big numbers.

I saw the news update yesterday, and Tata is not expecting any big sales from this. But this moves will put Tata in exclusive leage.

Tata to introduce more Land Rover Vehicles in India!
Tata Motors will soon start selling the 2010 models of the Range Rover, Range Rover Sport and the Discovery 4 with some Indian feature upgrades from November onwards. The company will stop selling Discovery 3 and upgrade the same model to Discovery 4 with some variations. While the company has already started taking bookings for these models, the specific upgrades in features would be announced at an appropriate time
