Key not removed, seatbelt warning tone-DIY?

Is there a way to change the default "tu tu tu tu tu " (pardon me there was no other way to explain the sound) of a maruti swift/ritz or any other maruti which produce that sound for

1. Key not removed
2. Headlight on

to a better sounding "tang tang tang tang" sound as it is in many cars including i20.

and also nice to have a sound for

Seatbelt not fastened sound (not equipped currently)

While the seatlbelt sound can be done because there is already a light for that which flashes unless you "click it" a "tang tang" buzzer to the light i think can be added easily.

Any thoughts?

well i hope it should be possible. you only need to replace that device which has tu tu sound set to tang tang! experts also comment!

the only concern is that this may be a gp on some cars and cannot be bought off the shelf.

If you can trace the place where your warning buzzer is located you can get buzzer of your choice and DIY.

I reduced the volume of the buzzer for my manza so that it is soft and not irritating.

Thanks for the pointers. I will try to listen to the beep and follow the sound. Meanwhile if anbody else did something like this will really help.

Hey thats cool.
Even I want to lower down on remove the seat belt alarm in my Civic. its annoying sometimes. :)
