How To Park Vehicles in TAI Garage

The Automotive India “Garage” or Media Gallery feature enables members from V4 rank onward to create personal albums and upload images of their vehicles. However, note that:

• Forum Protocol is applicable across all Garage content.
• You’re allowed to upload pictures of your own vehicles only.
• Pictures other than of automobiles are strictly not permitted in the Garage.
• Members who’re commercially associated should not spam by uploading images of their products.
• There’s no limit on number of albums a user can create but please maintain only one album per vehicle.

Furthermore:

• You can anytime edit or delete the pictures that you upload.
• Edit time-limit for album comments is forum default (30 minutes).
• The Automotive India watermark is added automatically on each uploaded image.
• Maximum allowed storage for V4 rank holders is 25 MB while it’s 100 MB for V6 and above.
• Maximum allowed file-size is 1 MB regardless of user rank. There’s no restriction on dimensions.

To create a personal album: Go to “Garage” using forum navigation bar and then click “Add Media” button.

You’ll be prompted to create either a new album or upload in an existing one. Please do not create different albums to showcase same vehicle.



Upload images, title the album and add a relevant description. You can also adjust album privacy settings.

We strongly recommend including a suitable title on album and image names (instead of using default images names like 001.jpg).



There’s an optional “Add Note / Tag” function which is activated using button on bottom right of image.

You can either tag a user or add quick info that appears while hovering over a specific area of the tagged picture.
