Ford Figo 1.6 Automatic From India..

Sorry for the PJ, but I just could not resist after reading this piece of news. Ford is locally manufacturing the Figo 1.6 Auto-transmission in India at their Chennai plant, especially for export purposes in Middle-East, and the car will be launching there early next year. Wonder if it will launch in our own country, in-spite of being locally manufactured here?

Wow !!! Something Interesting. I have seen Fiesta 1.6 and Ford Ikon 1.6. This would be rocket. They should have manual version rather than automatic.

figo 1.6 will be anyday great idea. ford is doing excellent with figo now and they can think of launch a/t by competing with i10 a/t!! it will give them three fold benefit..

Finally now we have a reason to be happy. Hormazd Sorabjee has confirmed that Ford is seriously planning to launch the Figo 1.6 in India. The launch date and other information is not revealed yet.
