Here is a Citroen caught testing in India.
A noteworthy thing is that this is 2001 model which is out of production in Europe.
this is the last thing a struggling brand needs to do to succeed.

I am expecting GM-Wuling Vans to be much better. Also, there’s no confirmation whether it’s on test apart from the red number plate.

no one will import a citroen to India.
I didn’t mention that it’s private import either. Since the competition is only going to become tough, hope Citroen is not fool to bring such products in potential markets.

Citroen C4 Picasso caught testing

PSA Peugeot Citroen had applied brakes on their Indian operation after being stung by a nasty Euro crisis. Wonder what are they upto are they testing this model for our market? or is it just on a international validation program?

Citroen C4 Spotted Testing in Chennai

The Citroen C4 test mule seen here in the pics sports a V2 sticker, while the Quanto in the front sports a V1 sticker. Both the test mules are Nasik (MH 15) registered, which clearly gives us a hint of a Mahindra connection. Mahindra has manufacturing facility in Nasik, Maharashtra.

The Citroen C4 Picasso is a 5 seater MPV. The car maker also offers a Grand C4 Picasso, which is nothing but a 7 seater version of the MPV. The MPV is available with a host of diesel and petrol engine options in many markets.

he C4 Picasso is equipped with low-set headlights integrated into the front bar and separate high-set LED daytime running lights.

On the inside, a panoramic windscreen continues to feature, with optional massage seats adding to what Citroen describes as achieving “business-class travel standards”. On some models, the centre console is removeable, while storage is available under both rows of seating. A massive 12-inch panoramic HD screen i situated on the dash, with a seven-inch touchscreen below it.

Features on the Citroen C4 Picasso include :

•360-degree camera
•Auto-parking technology
•Active cruise control
•Active front seatbelts,
•Auto high-beam dipping
•Lane-departure warning
•Citroen e Touch integrated emergency calling and vehicle assist technology

Although Citroen has no plans to launch their cars in India soon, we will have to wait and watch on the strategy the car maker adopts for setting its foot on the Indian soil.
