Seat cover: Try not to buy Rexin type of seat covers which heats up very quickly. I have this similar type on my Wego but cannot sit on it if the Scooter parked under sun even for 5 minutes ...

Booked TVS Jupiter Grey from Saibaba TVS on Saturday. Should get the delivery in a day or 2.

Congratulations Rahul, Jupiter is a wonderful scooter. I really love riding it, suspension setup is too good.

The scooter is now launched in Kerala (may be in all south states), as Full front page ad came in today's Hindu News paper..!

Got the delivery yesterday. Disappointed with the quality of hand grip and the seat cover. Will check for cool mesh seat cover. I am used to it since my FZ days.

@Nairrk: They have provided rexin type seat cover only. Is it ok if I install cool mesh seat cover above the rexin seat cover? Or it will pose a problem to close the seat.

I know, TVS guys supply these kind of Resin seat cover for all their Scooters, thats the reason I notified you in advance with a screen shot of the seat cover.

I too got one on my Wego which I removed after couple of months because of the heat. I have even complained to the dealer who agreed to my comments, but I lost money and the seat cover is lying here (It can be used during monsoon season..)

If you feel too hot, then remove it and install a cool mesh seat cover if neccessary but dont put on top of the resin seat cover..!

Mine is different. Your seat cover looks of better quality. I have to change the seat cover. Waste of money when we get accessories from showroom.

This seat cover is showroom fitted, and have no complaints.

I did not fit the mobile charger, if you do then let me know.

Saw the seat cover again today morning. Its more of a rain coat type of material.

Hope you have paid for the seat cover (means its not complimentary from Tvs or the dealier?)? If yes, then you should have checked before finalizing it. !!

What happened - Did you book the scooter and got delivery? ( I heard that they started giving delivery from 29th March onwards...)

I still not paid full money because they says Black colour is still not available with them..

I had booked for matt blue one. But at last, I also changed to black. When I visited on March 28, they told that vehicle will come on 1st week of April. When asked about black one , they told that it can be given only on April 19th. I changed my booking for black.
But yesterday they informed that the scooter can be delivered on April 10 th.

When I spoke to them on 31st March, the sales guy told me it may take one or two week's time as they are not sure if the next lot of shipments will have black color or not...

Unable to take a decision, whether to wait further for the black color or take other color or go for the New Suzuki Access 125 (no external fuel filling feature on this model..) which seems better on power and some other features...!

Yesterday visited Hero showroom for maestro edge.

Eye catchy and thoughtful design with very useful features.
+ves.
Seat and fuel lock can be operated from ignition slot...
Nice design and muscular looks.

Engine sound was not so refined.

Any how today i am going for TD the vehicle , will post my view on that.

Help guys:
1) Maestro and maestro edge engines are different? (maestro edge is altogether newly developed engine?).
2) Heard lot about Bad mileage of maestro, Any first hand information regarding duet mileage? (both duet and edge had same engines)
