Now I am thinking of replacing my bike at my hometown also.

The only requirement is 1 up 3 down gearbox.

Max budget 45K ex showroom.

Well, I want to ask one question.

Does the YBR 110 have a 1-up 3-down gearbox?

Buddy, is your requirement 1-up 3-down or 1-down 3-up?
Never seen the former shift pattern in any of the new (i mean the one in production) models.

You are on the right path dude.
I haven't driven YBR, but from other examples of Yamaha I hope it should be good.
Twister - Even I hate the shape, it looks tiny for someone with 6' height. Mileage & butter smooth engine are the positives.

Hero Honda - No budget bike with this gear shift pattern
TVS & Bajaj - Out of your list

I don't think so anything out of YBR & Twister could be added to the list.

The Stallio looked perfect, but then sadly the recall fiasco and the production stopped and the like.[sad]

From the info i gathered from the dealer, M&M is going to start with the deliveries of Stalio very soon. However i would suggest you to go in for a Honda Twister. I agree it doesnt look very appealing to you but it behaves very well.
Also do specify your final budget. I am sure we will be able to suggest you with more options.

I dont like the Twister at all.

And as for budget, read post #2 of this thread.
