I too used to live in Mysore. I used to live in Sidhartanagar, and Bala lives in NR Mohalla.

I believe posts in the Introductory thread (intro) aren't counted. I experienced the same myself.

Exactly. The posts are not counted in this section.
Thats is beacuse, the posts you make should show some contirbution and value to the forum. Its not necessary that Intro should be taken in post count. Most of the forum follows this.
