Are tyres covered under insurance??

hey guys i was going through a forum where i read that a guy had drove his punto over a hole and broke his oe alloy there someone mentioned that alloys come under insurance !! is it true?? is tyre bursting also covered under insurance??

Yes they do come covered under insurance, Provided that they burst or broke in the event of a crash. And I guess if you can argue good, A broken alloy or a busted tyre which was the result of the car hitting a pothole can also be claimed through insurance.
In the latter event, The company might say it was a result of your negligence and try to refuse the claim, But they are bound to entertain your claim there as well .
