Congratulations!! You got your girl finally. I am searching for good seat covers nowadays getting little but confused due to variety and options we have.
At the showroom I saw three set of seat covers those were from 6.5k to 9.5k, didn’t noticed any difference though. But liked the 6.5k one it was in two tone color light brown (original seat color) and chocolate color. All these was not pure leather but something almost like leather. I know in showroom the price will be little higher but the quality looks really good, it was weighty, the fabric had tiny holes all over like the original one, its stitches were very neat. Overall it was like a OEM seat finishing.
But before installing I will check other shops in market if anything better.
one thing. ENJOY your ride for now leave the meguiars for next month or after the rains, no issues with manually folding the mirror once in a while by accident.

Hi nick, yes I was just thinking to apply a sealant as its still rainy weather here otherwise its very shiny. And thanks for the mirror input.

. A driver bring the car on the delivery day while I was driving another car. And festival days started here, all the roads are filled with people all time, also my work. The holiday will start soon hopefully by then I can take a ride.

well you can check 3m for their synthetic sealant package its top notch and the shine stays for a couple of months i have done it and was happy with it. But do it from a 3m car care centre not the hyundai showroom.

, you told me to ENJOY the ride. I took the car out 1st time to take it for a wash and I stuck is traffic and a rikshawala did this. Now congrats me for my 1st ride 1st scratch.
Here roads are filled with idiots all over not vehicles.

LOL… yes I will never ever forget. 1st ride 1st scratch. I will try but its on the edge and its deep. Only touchup wont work. BUT thank god its on the bumper, not in body. Even I’ve not fitted any bumper protectors, thought to get all these on weekend.

Regarding this issue today a sales manager called and had a long discussion, she was asking for overall rating and I gave 8 out of 10 for overall experience. She asked why and I explained this above reason. Then she ask if she needs to take this as a complain and I said no its not require anymore the issue was solved on the spot. And later the sales manager called the sales guy and the sales guy call me back and asking for not to say anything when I will get a call from Hyundai Delhi customer care where I need to rate them out of 10, and I said I will give 9 definitely and I was happy. Hope this will save future customer from the above situation I faced.
nah what you did does not save future customers. Two times the showroom banged my car, one time the stole my synthetic oil both the cans, stole parts which i paid to change as well and they say when Hyundai calls tell them 10, for this kind of nonsense I am expected to lie? Anyways Hyundai did not bother to call, and i will not carry out my periodic maintenance at hyundai any more, if some part needs to be replaced then sure otherwise no, they have neither solved any of my issues till date.
On the other hand that small dent, my car was just a week some drunk driver from the building dented my right side, fender and doors-both the doors and did not pay up nor claim responsibility even though it was pretty evident.

Regarding the seat cover I'll suggest you to get it done from after market premium accessories shops which are much much better than the showroom. At showroom the fitting may not be that good plus they'll charge you extra! Just have a look at some premium accessories shop and you'll get the answer! You can try Speed and Sameer(S&S Inc.) or Xlusiv!
And regarding the first scratch I can feel your feelings because my car was also hit by an Rickshaw wala for the first time!

Yes I know this won’t help but it was sound like serious. The sales guy said if I gave a bad rating then Hyundai he will got a call from Delhi head office and he has to visit physically to explain all. I don’t know how far is that true.
In our city its really horrible, people on the roads has no sense. The same thing happened with my bike when it was brand new. Like you said these people have no sense that they did a wrong thing. That’s why I always try to make my car and bikes away from these and try to drive in less traffic road even if the way is longer (in Km) than short ways.
With our previous car once I was driving on highway and one ambassador car hit from behind, the rear bumper took all the hit and very minor damage on the bumper. I came out and slap the driver by left hand and that was the correct thing for him. But this time it was in my locality and the situation was if I stay there a few second another one could do the same, I was surrounded by all.

I will definitely compare with other shop before installing but the accessories quotation they gave it wasn’t looking overpriced like few showroom drains customers.
From there I purchased a Body cover at the time of delivery and it was Rs 1550. It’s a parasite material and for verna which has mirror shape and antenna shape also. I didn’t check other shop but heard body covers cost upto 6k. I will post a snap later.
and no worries about the scratch, I will fix it.
