2 Strokes in India

Well, guys I am in a big confusion.

LML NV Advertisement I saw on TV says that it is available in both 2 stroke and 4 stroke.

But the last I heard was that 2 strokes were banned in India.

So how is LML still selling 2 strokes in India?

2 strokes are not banned at all.. The Bajaj Auto's are sold in 2 strokes also. But it should be according to emission standards. They can produce two wheelers in 2 stroke if its according to the current emission standards.
Current TVS XL, TVS Max 100, TVS Scooty Teenz are 2 strokes produced in India.
