Well, many of us have 2-3 cars, sometimes more... All the cars are for our daily use & these are the normal hatchbacks, sedans, SUVs, etc.

But if given an option to buy something as your weekend drive, your 3rd or 4th car, what would it be? It can be brand new or second hand, does not matter.

Please be practical too!

My weekend car would be one among the below (in the same order) -

1) Mahindra Thar CRDe 4x4:

- Military green colour
- Front & rear bumpers removed & replaced by chrome bull bars
- open top
- bucket seats in front
- fat A/T tyres with chrome alloys
- winch
- chrome anti roll bar
- snorkel
- and the likes

2) Mitsubishi Lancer:

- dark blue or Lambo orange colour
- Low profile wide tyres with deep dish alloys
- Scissor doors! [glasses]
- Projector headlights with angel eyes
- LED tail lights
- High end music system with 2 subs & LCDs
- free flow exhaust
- and the likes

3) Pajero 4WD:

- black or white colour
- Fat tyres with chrome alloys
- Modified front & rear bumper to make it more off road worthy
- winch
- snorkel
- and the likes

My weekend cars would be a Conti. Painted in glossy black with original chrome bumpers. Angel eyes, fat low profile rubber on chrome rims. Real heavy music system with 2 sealed box subs, medium black tints.

freakdude.

Although I am not in a position to buy a weekend car right now, but if I could, it has to be Mahindra Thar Crde or a Refurbished Jeep MM540, with fat rubbers, fog lamps, cockpit bars. Great to putter around town and do a little bit of off-roarding in those [:)]

practically i dont like owning 2 cars at a time.
whenever i drive one , i feel i miss the other car.

If at all 2 cars ,
week end car must be a pajero/thar/550/

Daily drive must be punto/linea/lancer

everything modded to my taste!

My weekend car would be:-

Either a Skoda YETI 4X4:-
Having driven and tasted(not tested)this car myself I am simply in love with this SUV.
It has all-in-one package as I want for myself.
Hatchback sized for the practicality and ease of driving in city.
Sedan ride and handling for cruising around.
4X4 and enough power and other features for crushing continents.

Or I'll buy a Mitsubishi PAJERO:
This may be old but still which other SUV drives better than this(Leave Yeti here as its not a hardcore SUV)?The answer is none!
Rest the pros and cons of Pajero are known by everyone,or copy the points mentioned by Raj.

For Daily driver , I have a 2005 Ford Falcon with lots of tweaks and is hella fun to have one of those but...besides that I had a Mitsubishi Magna too..

AND!!!

My weekend car:

Japanese masterpiece.

After selling that Mitsubishi magna.. I have bought another Japanese Legend..

Its fast....its furious..its running low..its a head turner..its...******* ***

Stay tuned ! Getting the number plates today (victorian)

My Weekend car would definitely be a SUV.
I might go for Toyota Fortuner or recently launched Mahindra XUV. :-)
I am great fan of offroading. I used to do offorading on my bike Baja Caliber. I know many of you migth be surprised reading this. But i have travelled 600 odd Km in one day on my bike when i was on tour to Panshet. I went to Tungareshwar Mountain in summer on my bike. :-)

My weekend car would be a Toyota Landcruiser/Fortuner for mild offroading. For highways, let me think:rolleyes:.

First of all, I am not in a position to owner a second car let alone the luxury of owning a week-end car.

But if at all something happens then it would be "Range Rover Evoque" with red body and white top.

I had a look at the Thar but did not suit my needs, currently looking out for a Scorpio Getaway 4x4,will post it on TAI when I get my hands on one,as I noticed there are no reviews or long term ownership reports on it

A battered old Willy's with a heart of gold and no canvas top. Because in life, at least once, one should own a convertible.
