Spotted: Rosenbauer Panther 6x6

Few days back, I spotted this unusual vehicle at Kalamboli Truck Terminal (New Mumbai). This is special fire fighting vehicle manufactured by Austria based Rosenbauer who is specialist in fire fighting equipments. This particular one was headed towards Calicut Airport.

One sight was enough for me to go crazy dreaming about it. Just imagine customising this vehicle into a luxurious home on wheels with Go-anywhere ability. This one will surely give complex to Bollywood stars owned Volvos (mostly DC designed).

Great catch Abhijit. This is a humongous truck, I wasn’t aware that Indian Airport authority is using such fire trucks for the job. It’ll surely scare the other road users and we can easily get a idea of its gigantic size by comparing the tires with of truck’s! and Rosenbauer's face looks similar to Hummer.

hey guys notice the 3 wipers on the windshiels. is there any specific reason for their arrangement like that? i thought they could all be arranged pointing in the same direction like in our cars.
 
Driver is seated in centre thats why the wiper config, other 2 seats are slightly at rear compared to driver, like the mclaren f1, if anybody remembers the seat config of that supercar!! All seats have slot in back rest for O2 gas cylinder for crew ready to attack the blaze with full gear on them, this machine is awesome to drive on the roads, all new airports which are Private Operated have got them Or are in process of getting them, this MACHINE ROXXX!!![clap][clap]
