According to sources, Skoda India has opened the advance Bookings for Yeti at Rs.50,000. The car will be locally assembled and a 2 Liter Engine producing 140 BHP will sit under its hood.

Here’s an official update by Skoda Auto. Yeti is expected to launch by July this year and will be available in total of three variants, Among which L&K being the top end and it’ll sport some exciting features such as Corner function for fog lamps, Varioflex seating, Intelligent four wheel drive, 4th Generation Haldex Clutch etc.

What is this "Corner function for Fog Lamps"?

Maybe the top-end model comes with fog lamps which projects the light even in the corners as the vehicle turns , just my rough guess though!

Yes, The fog lamps with “Corner Function” improve the illumination of
areas close to the vehicle while turning and lamps are regulated according to the steering angle.

This feature is also present in the Laura right?? But i don know if its functional with the fog lamps too!

I think they are available in Laura but not in fog lamps AFAIK.

Yes Laura headlamps are equiped with this feature not the fogs.

4 wheel drive and others similar features are welcome but i hope the price does not goes more than Rs.16 lakhs. Yeti does not have that oomph to pay anything max. Rs.17+ lakhs.

June end-July is the tentative launch.
Training has already started or just about to start.
3 variants.
140 BHP diesel.
13-17 lakhs is what I was informed.
