Motor for 200 is quite cheap. I hope its not a fan motor, but a High torque Motor.
Shops do not understand High torque motors when you ask for it.
Fan motor will burn up very soon. Fan motor is designed to carry high speed (RPM) with minimal Load (Just fan blades & Air drag)

Better visit a Robotics/Hobby store and ask which motor they use to power Wheels/ Arms in A Robot. Torque motors are designed to Carry weight (Eg Nasa Rovers) at a consistent speed.

Guys, I am a bit confused on the motor discussion. I understand Surya's motor works fine, so what is the purpose of shopping?

Yes, you are quite right on different types of DC motors, we buy such type of motors in bulk so was the price. I am serious DIY guy interested in dismantling everything and make note of every component once failed repair it by myself.

I emailed the manufacturer and they sent this photo to contact for warranty. I called this person some time ago, he noted down the model number and will call me back shortly. I will keep you guys posted.
Hi Guys, I think I have hit the dead end on this one. All 3 cell phone numbers on the business card are out of service (temporarily) and the landline was not a valid one (or may be very old). I have informed the manufacturer about this but I don't think they can do anything at this point. I have planned to rip it open when I visit my native place, my brother has the tools needed to troubleshoot.

Got an ISD call today and it was the person from KR Overseas. Apparently they are in China for a week long business trip and hence their Indian numbers were out of service (temporarily). He promised to replace my unit as soon as he gets back this weekend and requested me to close the email loop with Richtek Electronics [:D].

After speaking to KR Overseas, I shipped my unit to their Delhi address via Speed Post. It costed just Rs 184 vs Rs 500+ quoted by private couriers (regular post is even cheaper at Rs 60). Within a week, they repaired it and sent back to me. When asked him what went wrong, he replied there was a plastic piece stuck inside and he just removed it to get it back to working. Tested it today and everything looks and works fine, except that the user manual is missing. Anyways, I am glad I didn't have to spend 1500+ on a new inflator even though their warranty process wasn't clear. Case closed [:)].

Dent to Wallet:
Shipping Cost: Rs 184
Two Blown Fuses: Rs 10

Guys,
I am bringing sad fact that today my Inflator has broken.[cry]
I was trying to top up the air in my Safari when it noticed that it was making hell lot of noise (Grinding noise).
http://www.theautomotiveindia.com/f...-blue-elephant-my-safari-4x4-review-mods.html

So I quickly opened it up to check the innards, and here is what I found-

The gear mount has broken from a critical location.
But what's worse is metal shavings. It might be possible that even if I superglue the Gear mount, Gears itself might have sustained damage already.

So There it goes. Time to buy another one.

There is Same one available for Same price-

https://www.flipkart.com/windek-300...mhrlurqo1hq81539580792504&qH=e96ea976cb99383b

I think I should try something new-
https://www.amazon.in/myTVS-Digital...9580789&sr=1-6&keywords=digital+tyre+inflator

https://www.flipkart.com/mytvs-80-p...irgfijye2fb41539581861753&qH=b74eec5a236c945d

MyTVS is little expensive but should be worth it considering TVS name atleast there would be SOME service?

Or should I straight go to Goodyear?
https://www.amazon.in/Goodyear-GY-S...580789&sr=1-13&keywords=digital+tyre+inflator

There is an Interesting product from myTVS too-

https://www.amazon.in/myTVS-TDI-22-...=1-3-fkmr0&keywords=mytvs+tyre+inflator+heavy

Assuming there are different motors for vaccuming and Inflation, this one should be decent choice?
Prices are roughly the same.

Motor, gears and etc mounted on plastic housing. Which doesn't make it durable and I don't think it makes sense to buy similar inflator as it will break again in future.

Instead I'd recommend metal body tyre inflator like the following:
https://www.amazon.in/Bergmann-Typhoon-Tyre-Inflator-Blue/dp/B06XW683G2
https://www.amazon.in/Blackcat-Tyre-Inflator-Hercules-Black/dp/B078NSTDGS
https://www.amazon.in/Coido-Diosstore-Electric-Compressor-Inflator/dp/B00SOMW612

I like Bergmann Typhoon because its cheap and best. I have blackcat like inflator but from different company. Working fine since 4 years. Its hose started to leak so replaced it with water level hose.
