As far I have read or heard in Indian market, I do not think VW will be bringing out this niche hatchback. Have you seen the sales on Polo 1.6, how would the product team justify bringing a out and out fuel burner? If it comes it may come as premiums like Beetle or Fiat 500 etc.

Well, the Polo Cup is not road legal.

So they wont launch it.

ATM your best bet is a Polo 1.6.

well even if polo cup was road legal vw wont launch in india because it will have big price tag!! may be more than 10 lakhs!! nobody or very less people will buy it @ that cost in india!
