Which Phone is the Way to Go?

hi guys!

as you guys know that i am also (like sriharsa) looking for a new phone.
i had an iPhone 2G but sadly its screen cracked and it costs a bomb (10,000 baht) to fix it which is really absurd.

So i have narrowed down some options:

Nokia E63


Sony Ericsson W910i


LG KP500 Cookie


i really like the E63 but society says that SE W910i is the best of the lot
i also am very keen on the LG
my budget isnt much
only 7-8K

so guys please suggest a good phone

Thats great, but all the phones you discussed are really unmatched & each stands at their own way ahead!

Please drop in more details of what you exactly need from your phone ?

Are you looking for a business kind of phone or an multimedia gadget ?

BTW how much does an iPhone cost you?
the old one and the new one.
The old one is selling for 99$, so go buy one.
It will be cheaper than the screen[lol!]

@Zinam, i dont mind anything because E63 and LG also have good entertainment abilities so it doesnt matter

a brand new iPhone 3Gs costs 500$ upwards
the one you are talking about is an AT&T plan in which you get the handset for 99$ and pay 70$ per month for two years!

@sriharsa
SE W910i costs about 6.5-7K INR
is it cheaper here?

Okay ! Leave about what society says :)

LG is good but not best, It might have attractive fetures but not reliable in mobile phones. I had lot of problems with my LG !

Stick with E63, Its a business phone which is really good & comes with load of features:)

The cheapest deal in chennai is 11,200 INR :)

Can you query about Alpine 9886 in your place ?

Addy has the W910i Archit.
He got it for 14k about an year back.The phone is good but has its own sets of problems.The accelerometer will entertain you only for a month!! The music does live up to its Walkman name. I say take the Cookie. A friend of mine has it and it is an absolute delight to use!! But I am scared you might crack the screen of that thing too! [lol!]

Alpine is a Head Unit & they are the best HU we can buy!

There are still more HUs like Nakamichi, Clarion & Eclipse, But they are heavily priced & no Service centres here!

So can you check out the price of ////Alpine 9886 ?
