Which is Best Honda CB Shine or Discover 125 ST?

Hi,

I am 6 feet tall and weighing 80Kg.

I am looking for 125 cc bike.

My choices are

1. Honda CB Shine
2. Discover 125 St

My budget is 60K to 65K.

Please help me to choose the best from the above 2 bikes.

And also please suggest me good showroom with good servicing.

My vote goes for Discover 125ST as it's more modern and technologically well packed compared to the overpriced bare basic Honda Shine.

IMO Bajaj Discover 125 ST is a better bike. Honda CB Shine, a proven bike, will be too small for your height. Although I haven not seen Bajaj Discover 125 ST in person, the pictures suggests it is a bigger bike.

Hi Dhilip,
I have recently sold my Honda CB Shine due to the vibrations above 45kmph speed. This is the only negative I found in CB shine. The absence of 5th gear is easily felt above 50kmph. You could also check with any CB shine owners in your circle regarding the same. I would suggest CB shine for you if
1. Your usage is going to be minimal 25 to 30 Kms a day.
2. Your Primary purpose is commute in cities. You may not like like Shine in Highways.
Moreover, you are 6 feet and your hobby says biking, I would recommend you to go for 150 cc segment so that you could use it for both commute & week end outings.
