Which is Best Auto Show on Indian T.V?

I personally like NDTV car & bike show. Siddarth Patankar is a good host.
Some of Overdrive's show was excellent.


These 2 programmes was intrumental in taking decision for my Punto

I would say that none of the shows can throw light on the technical aspects of the car. Sure, they do have quite a bit of points that are actually only good for general knowledge, but factors like ride and handling, after sales and service ( including quality, not only quantity of centers ), etc. are sorely missed. The best way to gauge them is either a Test drive yourself and/or reading magazines. TV shows just cant cover each and every front in detailed manner.

I remember that once a host clearly stated that SX4 is faster than fiesta because SX4 has one more horsepower than Fiesta. Actually speaking, both are pretty neck to neck as far as flat out acceleration is considered, but the argument made me laugh.

But of all the listed above, I would rate for NDTV-TV18.

My vote goes to NDTV Car & Bike Show. Siddharth does a great job of anchoring. Autocar India Show received the next vote followed by Wheelocity. I also used to watch the Top Speeed on Star News but it’s not airing from last few months or perhaps the timings have been changed.

I agree, but it helps. Magazines are also biased to an extent.
Only unbiased detailed review you can find on internet, like TAI forum.

But of all the listed above, I would rate for NDTV-TV18.

Even i am a great fan of NDTV CnB show(English) and NDTV Raftaar(Hindi). But if one wants to know true goods n bads of a car, forum is the apt media.

our forum is the best wayto get knowledge about cars, infact we are sometimes much more informed then those anchors, where these cool chicks comes and talks about looks and looks and looks and nothingelse, yes NDTV CNB show and autocarindia on utvi are good,but still nothing superb.

Obviously the car and bike show. Nothing like TG or fifth gear but easily the best indian show.

Times drive was good but could never catch the show.
Other than that ndtv CNB and autocar are my pick of the lot.
Wheelocity was good initially but it has now gone to dogs with only a chick standing on a busy roadside hosting the show.
