Hey dhaya can you suggest me some plans that you have chosen??
From my enquiry I was told to go for 3250/- plan.
Which i am not sure what all channels i will be getting.
My main prority National Geographic-HD.
Discovery turbo.

Buy Airtel is the best DTH service. Programme/channel search feature is the best in its class. I am using the service past one year without any issues. Customer support is prompt responsive.

TATA Sky anyday! it is pretty good. all my relatives have it and it works pretty well.
I have Tata Sky HD and am very happy with the service.
If you are a fan of HD - then TS is a must. TS is the only DTH in India which gives maximum HD content - they cover lots of sports events on HD and even SD channels look a lot better with the HD box (using the HDMI out). I have a Sony 40 inch LCD and have no pixellation issue. TS may be a little expensive but it certainly gives it back through more content.
Please see demos of all good DTH's before finalizing. Points to consider:
1) How many HD channels they provide?
2) Do HD channels offer 5.1 audio?
3) How do SD channels look on bigger size HD TV's?
4) Remote response time
5) Sound level across channels
6) How are packages designed? Do these packages work for you?
7) Finally read number of reviews online to arrive at a decision.

As far as i know , lot of people use sun and it has hd too.
rest of them say tata is good.
