Where to go for a good vacation?

hey guys!

Some of you may already know that I am planning to visit India now for Christmas and New Year. So I would like to know that which city is best for touring and enjoying?

I heard Mumbai and Delhi are good. Actually I may make it to Delhi for the Auto Expo. But I want to go somewhere else.
Please suggest.
My options are:
Chennai
Mumbai
Delhi
Bangalore
Kolkatta
Any other Suggestion?

I really have no idea about travelling in India so please help me out!

Hmmm.. Why not visit Delhi & Bombay ?

Chennai doesn't have that many places :)

If you want to come to chennai, then you can even attend the meet.

archit, visit mumbai and then delhi, attend auto expo and go to many places to visit upnorth from Delhi.

For Tourism purpose, Delhi and Bombay are Best and As you've plan to attend the Auto Expo, You can visit other places near by like Science Center, Zoo etc.

I dont know its may be a typo or may be you dont know, but whatever it is I just want to correct it, dont take it otherwise.

i have to return to BKK at 9th
and i have to return from Kolkata
so i think there is less time for Delhi or Auto Expo!
But Mumbai is in my sight, hopefully i will go there or even Shimla!

So How Will you cover the Bombay as well? Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata are in different directions. I advise you to take a complete Delhi Tour, You'll find many places of attraction here.

That is why

i dont like tours. I have a relative there who is more than willing to take me around!

i think for tourism, kerela & goa is good. mumbai & delhi are two regular metro cities.

if you plan your base in kolkata, then why not you consider Sikkim in your itenery, nice state to be in and many places to visit.
