@ Jalex

Since Desktop Monitors (LCD) come with stand, I think you need not worry much.

You can opt for 20" screen.

@ Zinam Wow , how much it costed totally?

@ Jalex Remove the partition in your desk which obstructs you from having the 20inch screen in a straight position , with the help of a carpenter.

Thats a good idea,but there are two problems,one is if I remove the partition then I wont have any place left to stack CDs, the other problem is that with all the new houses getting built in Kerala its hard to get a carpenter for small things.

On the brighter side though, I am not that bad with tools, I have almost everything with me for almost any handy-job.

Then the only thing I need is time alone,which I hardly get, cause my baby daughter is always after me. She wants to have a go herself on everything I do. Well guess I'll be my own handy-man and get it done.

@Zinam
I dont think the stand will make a difference, It also says on their website that the monitor can be wall mounted as well. And I guess 20 inches would be better, After all its just 200 rupees more, it consumes an additional 5 watts of power though.

And 3500 rupees for a 2 year old 15.6 monitor is fair right? I have no idea about used hardware prices.

She's not bad herself I guess,She's just a year and a half and she already can get a spanner onto a nut the proper way without any difficulty,only thing is she can't tighten or loosen it yet.[lol] Another thing is she likes toy cars than dolls right now and she loves to see the WRC on the computer.
