What I conclude is that FIAT 500 is only attractive due to those customizations and spiced up interiors with couple of Gadgets, In the Performance Sector, The car lags behind Volkswagen Beetle which has an added Brand Image. Hence my pick was Beetle in this Poll.

I think Beetle is petrol.

The ex-showroom price delhi is - 1482500 INR. (16.28 could be on-road price).

But Beetle price is ex-showroom price - Price: Rs.20.45 Lakhs INR.

So actually there is almost >6 lakhs difference in the price, ex-showroom. On-road it will be more than 7 lakhs.

Way or another, Both the products are pricey in India. Considering most of the aspects which a buyer would look into, The Beetle makes a much practical and sensible choice.

nice comparision, beetle is indeed a better performer but looks of 500 are nice, anyways this matter is subjective

I may change this when the 500's prices fall down to 7-8 lakhs.

Slightly off topic, but the Fiat 500 has been declared as the most robbed vehicle in UK. I personally like the 500 more....as the Beetle seems too girly
