I too feel the steering is hard to move :/ mine is out of warranty but i don't get krr krr noise when turning stationary or while the car is moving. Service is due in February, will report it in the service.

Actually, even after changing the motor, I didn't find it to be very free as I was expecting. Just to confirm, I asked the SR to check another Verna. I found out to be similar tension when turning. Just that , the krr krr sound is no more there and feels bit smooth to steer. Anyway have it checked once.

 

[Myth]

Verna steering is a bit hard. The ecu keeps trying to control the steering hardness depending on engine rpm and speed. I found this very inconsistent but eventually got used to it after all these months of driving.

Extended the warranty today for 3rd and 4th year from Hyundai Assure. Got 20% discount and paid 17375/- after tax(New Verna Diesel). Seems worth to extend the warranty for a peace of mind.

Same here, Biker by heart, though lot of bike rides have it's take on me and hence taking a balance between rides and drives nowadays

Agree. Just now got a call from Royal Enfield. My TB 350 is ready for delivery. Will do PDI tomorrow and should get it by next week. Extremely excited!

Closed the car loan yesterday. I did prepayment to close the loan within 1.9 years. Got NOC and form 35 from SBI. Very good service from SBI. Prepayment charge was nil.
