I have some bad news. My muffler tip touches the plastic bumper after tightening the nuts. So I removed it right away as it could easily melt the plastic, causing more harm than serving its purpose. I guess this design won't suit the stock pipe of Tiago [cry].

Oops, thats not a good thing. Wish the bumper had cut out for exhaust pipe, like my car. However, these days most cars come with hidden muffler tip. [frustration]

It is possible to cut the bumper (I have seen this doing in youtube and even cutting/welding muffler pipe to make it straight) but we don't like to do so on new vehicle.

That's right, cutting the stock tip for this cheap add-on isn't worth it. I will check with an FNG friend during my next native place visit if he has any juggaad to install without touching.
Would a 5 mm clearance be sufficient to protect from its heat?

Yes, some clearance would be sufficient and also the muffler tip has two layers so it won't be as hot as muffler pipe. Just make sure the muffler tip doesn't get hit and damage the bumper.

These universal muffler tips won't fit as we want them to; We align the tip and start to turn the bolts but while tightening, the alignment starts to change. I struggled with it. [angry]

BTW: What is FNG? [confused]
