it is either variable geometry type (vgt) or fixed geometry (fgt) .

maruthi have so far used fgt type fiat engines only.

fiat linea and manza uses vgt type fiat engines.

at the end of the day they are all fiat engines and turbos.
it is not very much desirable to add turbo from different manufacturer on t these tiny 1.3 ltr engines.

as these engines are electronically controlled from head to toes ,so it is not pretty much easy to make them interchangeable .though i could be but at the price of fuel efficiency and refinement.

Add Punto90HP to that list which too has the VGT under the hood. The regular 75HP Punto has FGT.

yes true , punto90hp have vgt turbo

does indica vista have variable geometric charger
indica vista comes with fgt. same as swift ,ritz, punto . nonetheless fgt offers great and reliable power generation with those addictive instant turbo boost.
but thanks to tata engineers they have kept the turbo lag in indica vista to minimum it is a great car to drive .

vgts are much linear and slower ,more expensive and complicated but give additional power benefits.
