Trip to Nathdwara (Shreenathji)

I have planned this 4 day trip to Nathdwara in Rajasthan.
The route I have have chosen is as below:

Jamnagar - Ambaji (via bechraji) total distance 478 km.
(ALL DISTANCE MENTIONED HERE ARE AS PER GOOGLE MAPS)

Ambaji - Nathdwara 192 km (via NH 27 & NH76)

Nathdwara - Gandhinagar 288 km

Gandhinagar - Jamnagar 318 / 337km

This will be my first trip out of state in my EECO.[:D]

Please give your valuable suggestions as this will be my first interstate trip.

DAY 1
As planned , left home at 5.30 am and reached at my sisters place to pick up my sister and cousin she stays 115 km from my place.Left from her place at 8.00 after having tea..have a lazy cousin, had to wake him up[;)]

We halted at this hotel for breakfast and the halt took away 1 hour[lol]

My mom needed some rest and the children wanted to have some fun in the garden

Finally reached Bechrajee at 11.45 am parked the vehicle in parking area(not exactly) but had to pay parking fees of Rs.10.
Distance covered 325 km.

This board says that the godess has seven different types of (savaris)

After 4 hours of halt here started from Bechraji at 4.00pm for Ambaji..
Photos enroute.. the roads were very good we went via chhapi, gola route the route from chhapi was a single lane but well maintained.
There were beautiful hills that we passed through

Nice pictures, Jayesh. I really appreciate the fact that you took the pain to come back to update us even though the itinerary query initially went unanswered. My +1 reputation for that and also for these beautiful pictures. How about sharing some snaps of the Eeco? It seems you have painted its bumpers to body colour lately. :smile:

I've been to Ahemdabad (gujrat) spent about a year in Gujrat at my Aunt's place and then head back to Punjab.

Reached ambaji at around 8.00pm the aarti was over by thenmissed it.
First parked the vehicle in Pay & park area ( its a bit safe there)[:)], the went to look for a good hotel with nice beds. Lastly found one just opposite to the place my vehicle was parked.Asked the owner for parking place and was allotted this one.

They also had a restaurant upstairs , so had dinner and went to sleep.[sleep]

Next day woke up at 8.00 am ( was late today)
We had to leave for to visit the temple on the hill Gabbar.(The goddess resides here).

oh wow you just refreshed my another journey
Mount Abu
I was so young that we had summer break and we wanted to goto Gujrat to see my aunt. but then train tickets were fully sold out

My dad decided to drive from Punjab to Gujrat ( got the aircon fitted in ambassador overnight) and next morning we started.

We sayed in Udaypur and went to Mount abu as well.

so many year have passed man. I still don't forget
